It matters greatly the stories we tell ourselves

Our actions flow from our thoughts and it matters greatly the stories we tell ourselves. It’s like when Joshua and the Israelites crossed the Jordan River and they took stones from the middle of the River, standing stones, so that everyone who saw would be reminded of God’s mighty and providential hand. We can be confident that God’s character is unchanging and His goodness to us in the past informs our future. He has showed up for me and He will show up again. I want to tell stories of Your faithfulness. He who did not withhold His One and Only… His blessing is more than the sand on the shore and the stars in the galaxy (Jess Ray).
